Company History

Formerly Pilkington’s in-house training company known as Lakeside Training & Development Limited, Waterside Training was established in 1996 and is owned by Pilkington Group Limited, St Helens College and Knauf Insulation. Our board of directors are drawn from local manufacturers and from Further Education and they provide a valuable link between industry and education.
 
We are based at St Helens College’s Technology Campus, a £20 million investment with facilities and resources to meet the learning demands of the 21st century. Click here for a map and directions.
