What is an Apprenticeship?
An Advanced Apprenticeship gives you a fantastic opportunity to obtain a wide variety of benefits. If you like working with your hands, being creative and practical then an apprenticeship programme is another alternative to consider. An apprenticeship gives you a good grounding, a salary and the flexibility to gain real life invaluable practical experience. It’s the first step on the career ladder in developing your skills and knowledge to achieve a variety of qualifications both academically and practically to become a well rounded employee who is employable along with helping your organisation to become more efficient and effective.
Waterside Training work with leading multi-national companies who have total commitment to top quality training to meet their business requirements to fulfill the future skills gap and needs of their businesses.
As a Waterside Apprentice at the beginning of your programme each apprentice signs an Apprenticeship Agreement with Waterside Training as the employer, the Sponsoring Company as the place of work and parents for all round support. This sets out the training programme that will develop the apprentice to his/her full potential.
Although a permanent position cannot be guaranteed by the sponsoring company from the outset, a permanent position may be offered to the apprentice on completion of the training. If this is not possible, Waterside Training will help you use the many skills you have gained during your apprenticeship to seek work with other companies or to pursue a career elsewhere if a position is not available on completion.
