Personal Development Coach

Carol is a qualified Business Administration Assessor and has worked in pastoral and safeguarding of both adults, students and apprentices over a number of years for St Helens College and a private company before joining Waterside in 2022 to take up a Pastoral and mentoring role.

Carol is employed as our Personal Development Coach and is responsible for reviewing apprentices during the first year to help them develop into the world of work. Carole provides first year review progress feedback engaging with college lecturers, apprentice and employer representatives on initial feedback as well as providing tutorials and pastoral care and support of the apprentice throughout the apprenticeship journey. Carol completes, wellbeing, personal and social development tutorials taking topics that will prepare apprentices for life and work including mental health, diversity, safeguarding and prevent, equality, health and wellbeing awareness.
